S&P upgrades Croatia's credit rating because of its pending euro zone membership

Standard & Poor's (S&P) Global Ratings raised its long- and short-term foreign and local currency sovereign credit ratings on Croatia to 'BBB+/A-2' from 'BBB-/A-3' on Thursday, saying that the country will benefit from joining the euro zone and its economic growth would "remain steady."
