Europe’s leading low budget airline, Ryanair, has on Tuesday launched the first out of three direct lines to Bosnia and Herzegovina that will by the end of the year connect Banja Luka with Stockholm, Brussels and Munich.

The route launched on Tuesday connects Banja Luka with Stockholm’s Skavsta airport twice a week.The airline will fly to Brussels’ Charleroi and to Munich’s Memmingen also twice a week.

Ryanair has started selling tickets from November to January next year for a promotional price of €9,99 but those can only be reserved via the Ryanair.com website until midnight on Thursday.

“We are happy that we can officially launch our first Bosnian flights with three Banja Luka routes,” Ryanair’s executive director for sales and marketing in Europe, Ivana Hajns, said.

Clients and visitors in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina can expect the lowest prices in Europe when reserving tickets for their vacations early,” she said.

“I’m happy to be able to share the news about the launching of Ryanair’s flights from the International Airport in Banja Luka with the citizens of Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Banja Luka airport director Dusko Kovacevic.

“This historic moment will make our communication with Europe and the world easier, and it will have a great influence on economic trends in our region and further,” he said.
