The average net monthly wage paid in Croatia for October 2019 was HRK 6,496 (€873), which is an increase of 3.4 percent in nominal terms, and 2.8 percent in real terms over the last twelve months, the state statistics bureau said on Friday.

Compared with the previous month, the average wage paid for September 2019 was 1.2% higher in nominal terms and 0.8% higher in real terms.

The median wage for October 2019 was 5,630 kuna (€757), which means that half of the people in work earned less and the other half earned more that this amount.
