The average net wage in legal entities in Croatia in March 2020 was HRK 6,731, which is a real year-on-year increase of 0.8% and a monthly drop of 1.3%, the national statistical office (DZS) said on Tuesday.
The highest monthly net wage was paid in air transport, amounting to HRK 11,331 and the lowest in food and drink preparation and serving, in the amount of HRK 4,166.
According to DZS figures, the median net salary in March was HRK 5,656, which means that half the employed persons had a wage below that amount while the other half had a salary exceeding that amount.
The average monthly gross salary for March was HRK 9,181, a real increase of 1.2% from February.
Year-on-year, the gross salary was 0.7% up in real terms from March 2019.
