Officials from ethnic Croat and ethnic Bosniak political parties opened a new round of talks in Sarajevo on Thursday in a yet another attempt to agree on amendments to Bosnia's election law, Croatian state agency Hina said.
The leader of the ethnic Croat HDZ BiH party, Dragan Covic, told reporters before the meeting that time was running out and that the matter should be settled within the next seven days.
“After today’s talks it will be clear whether there is any point in further negotiations,” Covic said, adding that the joint conclusion following the negotiations held in the coastal town of Neum two weeks ago was that further talks should be organized by the leaders of ethnic Bosniak opposition parties.
