A 'Most' political party convention under the title "The Stay Movement", aimed at encouraging people to remain living in Croatia, was held in Sibenik on Saturday with the party's political secretary Nikola Grmoja stating that the situation in the country was "disastrous" and that there was not political strength to change it.

Most MPs Nikola Grmoja and Miro Bulj claimed that “two-thirds of Croatia is empty,” and called on experts and ordinary citizens to join them and to boost their efforts because they won’t be able to achieve their set goals alone.

“The Stay Movement is a broad platform that encompasses legislative initiatives aimed at having people stay in Croatia because mere demographic measures cannot achieve that. The best demographic measure is a well paid job and we are offering 28 measures to relieve entrepreneurs,” Grmoja said.

He underscored that the platform provided for overhauling of the public administration in order to reduce the state apparatus and to make it more efficient and at the service of citizens and business people.

He assessed that the “judiciary is Croatia’s sore spot,” and Most is offering a complete reform of the judiciary.

“These is a collection of measures with which we are trying to keep people in Croatia and to show that Croatia can be different and that it can be better,” Grmoja concluded.
