The second coronavirus-related death was reported in North Macedonia, the country’s Health Minister, Venko Filipce, announced on Monday. He added that the total number of confirmed cases in the country rose to 136.
The second fatality was a 63-year-old man who had been hospitalised on March 17. According to health authorities, he did not have fever, but was dependant on assisted oxygen for breathing, before his condition suddenly deteriorated.
North Macedonia's first victim was a women aged 57.
