Four more coronavirus patients have died in Slovenia, which puts the total number of COVID-19 fatalities in the country at 20, the health ministry said on Friday.
Medical workers have so far conducted more than 25,000 tests, testing around 1,000 people on a daily basis.
The number of those infected with the disease rose to 934 from Wednesday to Thursday.
New cases have also been reported in nursing homes. According to a new strategy to fight the epidemic, beneficiaries in nursing homes who have not been diagnosed with the coronavirus will be relocated to separate units to prevent the infection from spreading.
