Rapid COVID-19 antigen tests that had been free in Slovenia until now will no longer be free as of Monday, a decision the government made in order to encourage people to get vaccinated against coronavirus.
People who need to get tested for work are exempt from the new regulation.
Antigen testing will cost between €10 and €12.
Free tests will still be available for people working in the hospitality sector, education system, stores, retirement homes, and for health workers.
