Slovenia has recorded 907 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, up from 746 infections confirmed seven days ago, while six people have died from COVID-19, the government reported on Monday.
There are currently 25,910 active cases in the country, which is 254 more than on Sunday.
The seven-day average of daily cases increased by 1% to 2,026, and the 14-day incidence rate rose by 0.8% to 1,228 cases per 100,000 people.
However, the number of hospitalised patients in not increasing, with 326 infected persons being treated in hospitals, including 71 placed in intensive care.
With the six patients who have died in the last 24 hours, the country’s total COVID-19 death toll has risen to 6,410.
