In the last 24 hours, there have been 5,163 new cases of the infection with coronavirus in Slovenia, the country's authorities reported on Tuesday.
Health Minister Janez Jansa called on the Slovenians to get vaccinated during the 13-15 January mass-scale immunisation campaign.
Currently, 85% of the COVID patients in intensive care wards in Slovenia's hospitals are unvaccinated persons.
