EU28 exports of goods drop 2.7 pct in May 2018 on the year

Exports of goods from European Union to the rest of the world amounted to €160.9 billion in May 2018, a drop of 2.7 percent compared to May 2017, when it was €165.4 billion, while imports from the world into EU were some €160.7 billion, down 1.4 percent from €163 billion in May 2017, showed the preliminary estimates published by Eurostat on Monday.
