Over the past 24 hours, three new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Slovenia and no related fatality, the government tweeted on Sunday.

The number of infections recorded since the outbreak of the epidemic has risen to 1,495 and the death toll remains 109.

To date, 87,386 samples have been tested. Only six persons are currently hospitalised and 1,364 have recovered from the novel coronavirus.

Only 22 people remain actively infected.
