Skopje reported six more deaths from Covid-19 and 153 newly infected with coronavirus in the last 24 hours, the Beta news agency said.
On Wednesday, there were 136 infected patients.
In the last 24 hours, 1,279 people were tested. Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the total number of tested had been 55,735.
North Macedonia’s Health Minister Venko Filipce said that the total number of people who died from Covid-19 so far rose to 265, while 5,595 were confirmed infected.
On Thursday, Filipce said, there were 3,164 active cases, 393 of whom in hospitals, seven on ventilators.
The number of recovered had so far been 2,166 people.
