In the last 24 hours, eight more patients died from Covid-19 bringing the death toll to 598, with a mortality ratio of 2.26 percent, N1 Television reported on Monday.
Since the last report, 7,168 people were tested and 258 were positive, while a total number of infected since the outbreak of the epidemic on March 6, was 26,451, out of 693,656 people tested, according to information from the country's anti-epidemic Crisis Team.
On Monday, 3,554 patients were hospitalised, 146 of them on ventilators.
