The official data showed on Saturday that out of 6,969 people tested 75 were confirmed infected with the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, while one patient died from COVID-19-related complications.
The Health Ministry said the death toll stood at 710 and that a mortality ratio was 2.27 percent.
It added that a total of 641 patients were hospitalised on Saturday, 40 of them on ventilators.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Serbia on March 6, a total of 920,852 people were tested, and coronavirus infection was confirmed in 31,282 cases.
