Bosnia reports 294 new coronavirus cases, six more deaths due to Covid-19

Health authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina reported on Wednesday that another 294 people tested positive for the coronavirus and six more people died due to Covid-19 within the previous 24 hours across the country.

Bosnia has seen a total of 22,258 confirmed coronavirus cases so far and more than 15,000 of them have recovered.

The death toll stands at 675.

All six new Covid-19 fatalities in the country between Tuesday and Wednesday occurred in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) region, which also registered 203 new coronavirus cases.

Another 90 new cases were reported in the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS).

One more person also tested positive for the virus in the Brcko District, which belongs to neither of the two entities.
