Police seized three vessels and three passenger motor vehicles that the suspects, who are Brcko locals, used to smuggle migrants across the state border. Searches are underway at three locations in Brcko. Police are looking for a third person, also a Bosnian national, who may have been involved.

According to the data of the Brcko District Police, the organised crime group transported about 100 migrants across the state borders in the last four months and gained “significant material benefit” from it.
