Arhivske fotografije žena na radnom mjestu iz Knjižnice američkog Kongresa. Za žene su prije 100 godina mogućnosti rada izvan kuće i sudjelovanja u političkom životu bile vrlo ograničene. Borba za pravo glasa bila je veoma teška i dugotrajna, a bitne rezultate donijela je tek početkom XX. stoljeća. Međunarodni dan žena obilježava se 8. ožujka.
