Four in five new coronavirus cases in Croatia not vaccinated

More than 80% of new coronavirus cases and COVID patients placed on ventilators over the last seven days in Croatia are persons who have not been vaccinated against this disease, the government tweeted on Thursday.

In the said period, Croatia registered 8,210 new cases and 547 new hospitalisations, and 77 patients ended up on ventilators. As for the hospitalised cases, 72% of them were not vaccinated against COVID-19.

Over the last seven days, COVID-19 has claimed 82 lives, and 78% of those people were not vaccinated.
