Europe's largest automotive club, ADAC of Germany, has released an information brochure dedicated to Croatia, presenting it as a  tourist destination "rich in variety and unforgettable experiences," state agency Hina said on Wednesday, carrying a press release sent by the national tourist board HTZ.

Noting that ADAC has 22 million members, the director of the tourist board's Munich bureau, Nera Milicic, commented that ADAC is the "most important source of information" on travelling abroad for Germans, and that this brochure about Croatia is important also because, since the outbreak of the pandemic, more than 70 percent of German tourists go on holiday by car.

The pamphlet titled "Croatia: A Land to Fall in Love with" presents coastal regions of Istria, Kvarner, and Dalmatia, describing their historical and cultural heritage, beaches, their inlets, and islands - as well as sights in the capital Zagreb. The pamphlet also mentions central Croatia and the eastern region of Slavonia and calls them "hidden jewels," Hina reported, citing the HTZ press release about the ADAC pamphlet.
