Producer prices of industrial products on the domestic market rose by a record high 7.8 percent this June compared to June 2020, the state statistics bureau reported on Monday.
Producer prices of industrial products of the domestic market increased in June by 1.1 percent from May, and 7.8 percent on the year, which was the highest rise on the year since October 2012.
On the foreign market those prices increased by 0.5 percent on the month and by 6.5 percent on the year.
The 7.8 percent increase on the domestic market was primarily the consequence of the 25.3 percent rise in the producer prices of energy year-on-year, RBA analysts have said in their comment on the figures.
