Serbia’s Crisis Team said on Monday that six people, three men and three women, died from Covid-19 in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of dead to 162.
The number of recovered patients reached 1,209 since the outbreak began in Serbia on March 6.
Authorities said that 3,214 people had been tested over the last 24 hours, including 233 new confirmed cases as of 3 pm on Monday. The total case count to date is now 8,275.
To date, 67,919 people have been tested for the coronavirus.
A total of 2,701 Covid-19 patients are being treated in hospitals, including 85 who are on respirators.
