Over the past 24 hours 706 coronavirus tests were conducted in Slovenia, with 25 turning out positive, the government tweeted on Monday.

On Friday, 1,708 tests were conducted and 43 were positive, while 1,212 were done on Saturday, with 43 positive.

Since the start of the epidemic, Slovenia has confirmed 3,190 cases of the novel coronavirus, with 525 currently active, and 135 people have died due to COVID-19.

As of today there are twenty-six patients in hospitalis, five more than on Sunday, the health ministry said.
