Slovenia's inflation hits 13-year high

Slovenia's central bank commented that increased inflation has been fueled mainly by a rise in energy prices in international markets. Analysts expects those prices to stabilize in 2022.

"The current rise is a consequence of high prices of the petroleum and natural gas on the international markets. Also the prices of CO2 emission coupons are rising. In November, the prices of heating energy and fuel strongly rose," the central bank said.

Commodity prices jumped 6.2 percent in November year-on-year, while prices of services increased 1.5 percent.
