Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and Bavarian Food, Agriculture and Forestry Minister Michaela Kaniber on Friday underlined the importance of the good Croatian-Bavarian cooperation and announced that a Croatian Economy Day would be held in Munich on November 13, the government said in a press release.
Croatia is one of Bavaria’s ten biggest trade partners in Central and Southeast Europe, and Bavaria is the third largest foreign investor in Croatia, with over 1,300 Bavarian companies doing business with Croatia.
Plenkovic said he was pleased with the years-long successful work of the Permanent Croatian-Bavarian Commission, which facilitates projects in the economy, culture, science, education, interior affairs, agriculture and health.
The two officials also talked about tourism given that many of the German tourists visiting Croatia come from Bavaria. They also agreed that the Croatian community living in Bavaria contributes to the strengthening of Croatian-Bavarian relations.
