In the past 24 hours 1,136 coronavirus cases and 11 COVID-19 deaths have been registered in Slovenia, the Public Health Institute said on Tuesday, adding that 43.1 percent of the tests have come back positive.

There are 634 hospitalised COVID-19 patients, 31 more than on Monday, including 158 in intensive care, 13 more than yesterday.

Today the government’s COVID team might say more about new restrictions, media said, recalling that last week epidemiologists said that when the number of patients in intensive care surpassed 160, rigorous restrictions should be introduced, including a lockdown.
