In the first two months of 2021, Croatia's export of goods totaled €2.4 billion, down 3.3 percent from the first two months of 2020, while import dropped 9.1 percent to €3.7 billion, state statistics bureau said on Friday.
The foreign trade deficit was €1.3 billion, 17 percent down year-on-year, while the coverage of import by export was 64.3 percent.
Goods exported to the EU totaled €1.7 billion (-4.6%), while exports to non-EU countries dipped 0.1% to €726.4 million. Goods imported from the EU totaled €2.9 billion (-10.6%), while imports from non-EU countries dropped 2.8% to €762.8 million.
