Nova TV: President still the most popular among voters

In its regular monthly review Crobarometar, TV Nova revealed who the most popular politicians were in August and how much support the President enjoys after the football euphoria has died down.

President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic still can count on the support of the majority of voters. Some 55 percent support her work while 38 percent do not. After the July rise in support for the work of the President, voters are cooling down and the support is decreasing.  

Who are the most popular and who are the most unpopular politicians?  

The President still enjoys the most support among voters. The review said 68 percent of the voters have a positive impression of her while 27 have a negative one.

Her predecessor had the support of 80 percent of the voters in the same period of his mandate.  

Ivan Vilibor Sincic is the second most popular politicians, as he left a positive impression on 47 percent of the voters and a negative one on 39 percent of them.  

Bozo Petrov remains on the third position with 45 percent of the voters who have a positive opinion of him, while 43 percent have a negative opinion.  

Most voters think negatively about Andrej Plenkovic, some 54 percent, compared to the 38 percent who have a good opinion of him.  

Davor Bernardic left a negative impression on 55 percent of the voters while 25 percent see him as a positive figure.  

Among the voters of the Croatian Democratic Union, HDZ, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic is the most popular with 93 percent of supporters, followed by Andrej Plenkovic with 85 percent and Milan Bandic with a 61 percent.  

Among Social-Democrats, SDP, Anka Mrak Taritas has the support of 60 percent of the voters, Davor Bernardic 56 percent while Vilibor Sincic is supported by 49 percent.  

Applying school marks when judging three institutions, the Office of the President continues to be the most popular with a 3,14 mark given by citizens. The Government got a 2,25 and the Parliament a 1,87, Nova TV said.
