Bosnia and Herzegovina recorded 1,110 new coronavirus cases, the second daily figure in a row that exceeds 1,000, while 37 Covid-19 patients died, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Wednesday.

The new results came from 4,214 lab tests performed on those who reported infection symptoms.

With the new spike in coronavirus cases across the country, Bosnia and Herzegovina now has 14,934 active Covid-19 patients.

The total of 139,652 infections has been reported since the epidemic outbreak, with 119,336 those who have recovered to date – 201 in the last 24 hours.

The country’s Covid-19 death toll stands at 5,382.
