By 27 January 2022, Croatia contracted financing for projects from the European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF) in the amount of €13.31 billion and so far €7.05 billion or 65.72% of allocated funds has been disbursed, the Regional Development and EU Funds Ministry stated on Thursday.
Minister Natasa Tramisak informed the government about the state of affairs in tapping ESIF funds in Croatia.
The ministry recalls that for the period from 2014 to 2020 Croatia has an allocation of €10.73 billion (81.56 billion kuna) available from ESIF.
The sum covered by the contracts concluded so far is 123.99% of the available outlays.
The disbursed funds amounted to 65.72% of the available funds, and €5.97 billion (45.36 billion kuna) has been verified, or 55.61%.
