Croatian Parliament told state agency Hina on Tuesday that it spent 882,000 kuna (€117,000) on natural gas in the last three months of 2021, which is "four and a half times more" than at the same time the year before.
The gas bills for October, November, and December 2020 totalled 192,000 kuna (€25,000).
The Parliament building spent 1.3 million kuna (€172,000) on gas last year and 438,300 kuna (€58,000) in 2020. “The bill covers two buildings,” Hina said, without explaining the three-fold increase from 2020 to 2021.
