Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will arrive in Sarajevo on Tuesday where he will deliver a donation of 5,000 vaccines against Covid-19, a spokesperson for the SNSD party Radovan Kovacevic told N1.

The Serb member of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s tripartite Presidency and SNSD leader, Milorad Dodik, will met with Vucic upon his arrival.

“Vucic once again proved he is a friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Kovacevic added.

The Government of Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity recently authorised prime minister Fadil Novalic to address the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, “expressing the readiness” of the FBiH entity to receive 5,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine as a donation from Serbia.

Previously, Serbia had arranged the vaccination of 5,000 health workers from Bosnia’s Republika Srpska entity.
