The entire Adriatic coast in Croatia and its seven counties have been removed from Slovenia's red list of epidemiologically less safe areas which will facilitate conditions for Slovenian tourists to return home after vacationing in Croatia.
Slovenia has also removed Germany and the Czech Republic from its red list and that decision enters into force on Saturday, Slovenia’s government has reported.
Earlier Slovenia had removed Switzerland, The Vatican, Austria, Tyrol, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Poland, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Montenegro off its red list while it added the Azores in Portugal.
Areas that are not on the red list mean they are not high risk COVID areas, which means people returning to Slovenia will not have to go into quarantine.
