Over the past 24 hours, Slovenia has reported four Covid-related deaths, and 1,100 new cases of the coronavirus infection have been confirmed following 5,139 tests, which is a third more cases week-on-week compared to 840 new infections registered seven days ago.

The average number of daily infections for the past week is 853, the percentage of the population protected by a sufficient number of vaccine doses has risen to 50.3%, and the 14-day incidence rate is 556.

The number of active cases stands at 11,719, and there are 403 Covid patients in hospitals, 117 of whom are in intensive care units.

The death toll has increased to 4,631.
