The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) on Thursday published an updated map showing the COVID-19 situation in Europe, according to which Croatia's Adriatic region remains in orange, indicating moderately elevated risk of infection, while continental Croatia is in the green zone.
Every week, the ECDC publishes an updated epidemiological map of Europe based on the 14-day incidence rate and the test positivity rate.
According to the new map, the whole of Italy is no longer in the green, with three of its regions now in the orange.
Meanwhile, France has mostly turned orange, with only two of its central regions remaining in the green. Smaller parts of Sweden and Finland are also in the orange, as well as most of Denmark.
The majority of Greece is in the orange and a part of it is in the red, signalling a high risk of infection. Portugal is also in the red, as well as Spain and Cyprus. Ireland, Luxembourg, and parts of Denmark and the Netherlands have also gone red.
