Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic said on Friday evening that an investigation into the crash of a pilotless aerial vehicle in Zagreb on Thursday would continue on Saturday, and that "by all accounts Croatia should not have been the final destination of that drone."
Bozinovic gave this statement just before the start of a meeting which Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic convened with his associates for Friday evening upon his return from Paris, where he attended the two-day EU summit meeting.
The case of the fall of the unmanned aerial vehicle in Zagreb’s residential area of Jarun was on the the agenda of the meeting in Government House.
The government is also supposed to discuss further steps.
Bozinovic said that an intensive communication is under at the level of NATO and bilaterally, after the drone flew across a few NATO member states before it entered the Croatian airspace and crashed in a residential area in western Zagreb.
