A tremor measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale rocked the Vrpolje area and was also felt in the Sibenik coastal area at 9.35 am on Saturday, Croatia's Seismology Service said.

The Sibenik area was struck by a magnitude 4.7 earthquake on 8 June. Since then, a number of weaker aftershocks have been registered.
