No legal or natural person applied to the public call for expression of interest in 88.27% of the stake which the Uljanik shipyard, which is in official receivership, holds in the Rijeka-based 3. Maj shipyard within the set deadline, official receiver Marija Ruzic said on Friday.
Creditors will decide on further activities regarding the liquidation, that is the manner and conditions of the sale, at one of the future meetings, Ruzic told the Croatian state news agency Hina.
The public call for expression of interest in the purchase of 88.27% of 3. Maj shipyard shares held by the bankrupt Uljanik shipyard was advertised in early July pursuant to a decision by Uljanik’s creditors’ assembly in May this year.
Bids could be submitted until today, 27 August.
The 3. Maj shipyard’s stock capital amounts to HRK 181.2 million, and according to the call, Uljanik holds 88.27% or 1,249,568 shares in the Rijeka-based dock.
According to the data released on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE), the 3. Maj General Assembly yesterday determined the annual financial statement for 2020, and as at 31 December 2020, the total assets were HRK 381.1 million and the reported loss was HRK 74.5 million.
