The Croatian Adriatic area remains orange on the updated Covid map prepared by the European Centre for European Centre for Disease Control (ECDC) and the capital city of Zagreb has been added to the orange list, while the rest of Croatia is designated as green.

ECDC publishes maps every Thursday in support of the EU Council Recommendation on a coordinated approach to the restriction of free movement in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The maps are based on data reported by EU countries to The European Surveillance System database every Tuesday.

Croatia’s coast has been marked orange since mid-July. The majority of the Mediterranean coast in other EU countries is designated red or dark red due to higher incidence rate of coronavirus cases.

“The updated map indicates a deterioration across the EU,” state agency Hina said.
