Croatian Sandra Perkovic on Saturday won the discus throw event in the Paris meeting of the Diamond League.

This was Perkovic’s 44th win in the Diamond League, an annual series of elite track and field competitions.

During today’s meeting in Paris, Perkovic clinched the win with a 65.68-metre throw, and the second best competitor in this event was Cuban Yaime Perez (65.31 metre). The current Olympic champion, Valarie Carolyn Allman of the USA, was third in Paris with a 64.51-metre throw.
