The value of fiscalised receipts in Croatia last week was 22 percent up from the comparable week of 2020 and 8 percent up from the same period of 2019, according to data released by the Tax Administration on Tuesday.
The volume and value of retail receipts issued is reported regularly by authorities as an indicators of Croatia’s retail sector.
In the period from 13 to 19 December 2021 the total value of fiscalised receipts was 4.2 billion kuna (€560m), which is more by 745 million kuna (€100m) or 22 percent more from the same week in 2020. At the same time, the number of receipts issued grew by 39 percent to 44.1 million.
